Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce President Marion Smith’s 15-year reign is soon coming to a close.
On Friday, May 27, the Chamber’s board of directors and staff threw a Caribbean-themed farewell party for Smith at the home of Mayor Rick and Di Lott. Smith’s friends, family and fellow Chamber members gathered to shower her with praise and well wishes.
She was thanked for her years of dedicated service with a cruise. Mayor Lott declared May 27 as Marion Smith Day in Plant City.
