Plant City celebrated Black Heritage Month with a series of events over Valentine’s Day weekend. One of the biggest events was a parade Saturday, Feb. 13.
The parade started at Laura Street and went down Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center. At the recreation center there was a jazz festival and vendors selling clothing, gifts and food.
