The seventh annual Antioch Days celebration took place Nov. 3. Antioch Days is a time set aside each year to celebrate the 1854 founding of the Church at Antioch.
“It is a solemn recognition of the faithfulness and dedication of early Christians-who in obedience followed the leading and direction of a sovereign God in establishing a church in the wilderness near the shores of Lake Thonotosassa,” according to it’s website.
A parade started at 10 a.m. along with face painting, boat rides, crafts and other entertainment on the grounds of the East Thonotossassa Baptist Church.
