People from all over the United States have spent their Thursday praying, and Plant City is no exception.
At City Hall this afternoon, over 100 Plant Citians came together to join eight pastors and several other prominent members of the community in prayer. Mayor Rick Lott and Rep. Dan Raulerson were unable to attend the ceremony due to prior commitments, but issued proclamations stressing the importance of the day.
