Plant City softball players learned what it takes to play in college this week.
College softball players Makensie McAvoy, Kristen Wyckoff and Rachel Dwyer, all Plant City natives, hosted a camp from Monday, July 25, through Wednesday, July 27, at the Randy L. Larson Softball Four-Plex, 1500 S. Park Rd. The camp was promoted by the Plant City Recreation and Parks Department.
The 13 girls in attendance improved their pitching, hitting and fielding skills over the three days, and had fun while doing so.
