Residents lent a helping hand to people undergoing hard times with projects as big as Hurricane Irma relief efforts and as local as Lincoln Elementary students taking a stand against bullying for Red Ribbon Week. Hillsborough Community College celebrated its 50th anniversary and events such as Jensen’s Play for a Cure, Dine Small Downtown, ChiliFest and more made downtown a fun place to be.
