Plant City-area high schools celebrated 11 students taking a big step toward the next chapter of their lives on Wednesday.
Both Plant City and Strawberry Crest hosted their annual National Signing Day events in the morning and afternoon, respectively. Six Raiders and five Chargers signed their national letters of intent in front of cheering classmates, teachers, coaches and parents throughout the day.
Durant High School does not hold a formal National Signing Day ceremony, but several Cougars have signed NLIs during the school year. More athletes from all three schools will likely sign NLIs by April.
