On Saturday, a group of local youths learned football from people who made it to the game’s highest level.
Those who participated in Kirk Broussard’s CKB football camp at the Otis M. Andrews Sports Complex learned how to play the game with help from Broussard, himself a former coach with the Buffalo Bills, and retired Tampa Bay Buccaneers Solomon Patton and Ahmad Black. Patton was also a guest speaker at the camp and told the kids and parents about his journey from high school to the University of Florida’s team and the professional leagues.
