The month we celebrated the birth of the United States of America and the Plant City Observer’s sixth anniversary was jam-packed. We learned North Park Isle was to be back in development (with a slightly altered name) and welcomed new additions to the city in the Sparkman House Luxury Bed & Breakfast and MADZone Jumphouse. David Burnett became the city’s new fire chief and Evers Street became a lot more colorful with an art project. Most importantly, though, we learned Plant City’s roads were finally soon to be repaired.
