Inaugural Main Street Farmers Market

Downtown Plant City featured Elvis jams and homemade goods for the inaugural Farmers Market hosted by Plant City Main Street.

Separated into a vendor lane and an artist alley attendees could munch on grub from food truck vendors while perusing the homemade art and goods on display during the event. As we inch closer to the winter season more local farmers will be on site displaying their fresh produce.

An Elvis impersonator was on site belting out classic hits to the crowd. As attendees strolled the depot many popped into the local businesses, many of which stay open late in honor of the event.

Next month is Monsters on Main Street. There will be a costume parade and a costume contest in honor of Halloween. October will be the last month the vendor fee will be waived for the Farmers Market.
