Hoppin’ down the bunny trail

The annual Recreation and Parks Department’s Easter Egg Hunt drew hundreds to the Otis M. Andrews Sports Complex early Saturday morning.

Toting colorful easter baskets and wearing floppy bunny ears children of all ages gathered in front of the stage to watch a show by Razzmatazz Entertainment before being escorted by age group to the designated “nests.”

More than 10,000 eggs were filled with candy and placed in the field. Two Golden Eggs were in each age group, which allowed the finder to pick up their very own Easter basket. After the hunt kids could take their photo with the Easter bunny, jump on bounce houses, ride in a train and more.
