Grace Manor breaks ground on second building

City Commissioners joined strawberry royalty last week at Grace Manor at Hunters Creek Senior Living Facility for a ground breaking ceremony for a second facility.

The building will be a new Independent Living community. The original facility opened in May 2019 and the new facility will act as the next phase of growth for the business.

“We want to thank you on behalf of our commission and on behalf of our city for you to have the confidence in our community to make this significant investment in our city,” Mayor Rick Lott said. “It’s a need that we have and we are so proud of what you’ve done so far on Phase 1 and we are so looking forward to Phase 2. If it’s any indication of what you’ve accomplished in the first phase we know the second phase will be just as lovely.”

Attendees were able to get a glimpse at what the building is planned to look like via displays at the ceremony. To stay up-to-date on the progress of construction follow @gracemanorhunterscreek on Facebook or visit gracemanorhunterscreek.com.
