First Baptist Church of Plant City loves to make vacation Bible school special.
This year, the church commissioned several artists to help it make its "Submerged" theme come to life. Stephanie "the Tied Piper" Pipes, Mark "The Balloon Guy" Byrne, Jerry "Mr. Balloon Guy" Crabb and Tim Falter spent 26 hours creating the nautical-themed design and building underwater scenes for the walls and ceiling. According to Minister of Children and Preschool Bill Bender, the artists spent 12 hours in the planning stages and 14 on the build.
