Mid-week rains couldn't keep the eighth annual Mike Gottman Youth Football Camp from going strong.
The camp, always held at Durant High School's football practice field, drew 40 campers this summer and covered all the basics of offense and defense at the high school level. Gottman and his coaching staff helped the kids both learn the game and play it in scrimmages and flag football games.
"It's good to give back to the community," Gottman said.
