Though Quality Furniture Consignment is permanently closed, the building owners opened its doors on Oct. 13 for something different.
The building, located at 1304 S. Collins St., hosted an arts and crafts show from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. that Saturday, giving solo makers and small businesses a new venue to sell their wares. Whether it was a painting, bird house, gummy snacks or other home decorations, everything available could be had for $25 or less.
