Tomlin Middle School’s gymnasium was packed with young basketball stars on Saturday, Jan. 21.
The kids were participating in the 44th Plant City Optimist Club Tri-Star Basketball Competition, which tested their passing, dribbling and shooting skills. Twenty-seven trophies were awarded at the end of the event, and the Junior Girls-Wildcats team won a pizza party for having the most members attend in uniform.
