Hundreds of dads and their daughters gathered at the Trinkle Center Saturday for an under the sea adventure. The 9th annual Dad-Daughter Date Night event allowed fathers, grandfathers, uncles and father figures to take their daughter out for a fun and fancy evening. The event had photo opportunities, dancing, sea-themed crafts, dinner and a meet-and-greet with mermaids.
The event is designed for girls ages 3 years old and up and the cost was $35 a couple and $10 per each additional girl. During dinner, a sticker was placed under the seat of one person at each table and the winner went home with the centerpiece, which featured a glass vase and a live goldfish. Each year the event aims to give dads an opportunity to treat their daughters to a date-night to remember.
