Saturday’s event was the post’s 10th annual celebration.
Plant City’s AMVETS Post 44 knows how to celebrate Veterans Day.
The post hosted its 10th annual Patriot Day Observance and Remembrance Ride Saturday afternoon, two months after Hurricane Irma forced it to be rescheduled. Over 100 motorcycle riders drove to the post from Lakeland, Tampa, Palmetto and other starting locations to honor military veterans and have a good time. The event also featured a custom bicycle show, live music by Most Wanted, vendors and more.
Funds raised at the event will benefit James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital Recreational Services, local first responders and veteran programs.
