A fine day for a parade

Floats, high school marching bands, the Strawberry Queen and Court and more wove their way through the streets of Plant City. The whole town essentially took the day off for the event. Many businesses had block parties and chairs lined the streets in anticipation of the annual parade.

Led by Grand Marshall Steve Hurley, the parade began in downtown Plant City and ended near the Florida Strawberry Festival. All roads were closed by 12:30 p.m. to make way for the many floats.
