The Rotary Club of Plant City hosted the 11th annual Dancing with the Locals event at the Trinkle Center Friday night. The community came together to watch eight couples hit the dance floor and show off their unique moves.
Strawberry Queen Ally Burt and Jose Lozoya performed a swing dance. Pastor Calvin Callins and Tandria Callins performed a Waltz. Brandon Snyder and Jerilyn Rumbarger performed a Salsa Latin Fusion dance. Kristina Pizzini and Giancarlos Pizzini performed a Pop Waltz. Janet Witchoskey and Michael Witchoskey performed a musical medley from Hollywood's classic films. Lauriane Ciccarelli and Robert Howell performed a Hustle/Rumba/Tango. DeeDee Cardens and Trent Lott performed the Salsa. Jessica Bullard and Steven Kirby performed a Cha Cha Hip Hop dance. Nikki Williams and Jake Austin performed a Country Swing dance.
While the people's votes were counted a variety of items were auctioned off to raise money for the group. The highest ticket item auctioned off was a guitar signed by Dierks Bentley, which went for $2,000.
