PetSmart began last month renovations to several vacant spaces at the Lake Walden Square shopping center, located at the corner of Alexander Street and James L. Redman Parkway in Plant City.
SkyLine Mechanical Services, Inc., a Tampa-based mechanical contracting corporation, has been selected to complete the air-conditioning and energy-management renovations.
According to Steven Swantek, vice president of SkyLine and Walden Lake resident, the mechanical renovations are to include seven new Lennox high-efficiency rooftop air conditioners, new air-distribution ductwork and a digital energy-management and control system. The work also will include a state-of-the-art exhaust and ventilation system to serve the dog-grooming area.
These renovations will result in a cleaner and healthier indoor environment and dramatically improve the overall energy efficiency of the retail space.
Construction is expected to be completed in about 150 days.
