Update 3:56 p.m.: Perez-De Garnelo has been located and returned home safely, per PCPD.
Plant City Police Department is trying to locate Maria Lyovn Perez-De Garnelo, who was last seen at 1 a.m. Wednesday.
PCPD said Perez-De Garnelo, 83, was last seen at her residence of 310 W. Bates St. and was wearing a black or navy blue sweater, a white t-shirt, navy blue shorts and slippers. She stands at 4-foot-11, weighs approximately 165 pounds, has curly brown hair and brown eyes, has difficulty walking and likely does not have identification or a cell phone with her. Police also said she has Alzheimer’s disease.
Anyone with information on Perez-De Garnelo’s whereabouts is asked to call PCPD at 813-757-9200.
