The Plant City Police Department was looking for a burglary suspect around the Maryland Avenue area this morning. The suspect had broken into a home and took an undisclosed amount of cash.
To find the suspect, the department set up a perimeter extending to the wooded area near Alsobrook and Coronet streets and employed a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office helicopter. The suspect is still at large. The investigation is ongoing and no description of the suspect is available at this time.
