Plant City High School student Jacob Goad recently was honored with the Sam Bailey Scholarship at the Tampa Chapter of the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame 45th Annual Awards Banquet, at the DoubleTree Westshore.
The Sam Bailey Award recognizes a senior football player who may not be the fastest or best but always gives 110% and inspires his teammates.
Goad is an honor student and was a starter on the Raider football team for three years. He is active with Special Olympics.
