A Plant City man died early Monday, March 23, after he lost control of his car.
At about 2:32 a.m., Gilberto Montana, 20, was driving his 2014 Chevrolet Camaro on East Calhoun Street when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree. After striking the tree, the vehicle deflected and struck an unoccupied, parked vehicle.
Montana sustained serious injuries in the crash and died at the scene.
The crash is still under investigation.
