Optimist Tri-Star soccer winners

The 21st annual Optimist Soccer Tri-Star Skills Competition was held April 28 at the Otis M. Andrews Sports Complex. There were 124 participants in the four age groups and 24 finished in first, second or third place. The competition was held between the city soccer league's Saturday morning games.

Participants had to dribble around flags and beat the clock, pass to targets of different sizes and shoot at a goal with varying point zones across the net. Points were awarded for each event and tiebreakers were decided by passing and dribbling drills.
