The Krewe of Agustina de Aragon showed its appreciation for a Plant City business this week.
On Monday, Nov. 28, the Krewe presented Plant City O'Brien's Irish Pub & Grill owner Mike Goodwin with its Outstanding Corporate Partner award in a small ceremony at the restaurant, located at 1701 S. Alexander Street.
The Krewe, which consists of 200 women and 50 men, volunteers around the Tampa Bay area and participates in the annual Gasparilla Knight Parade. Goodwin was selected for the award because, in addition to supporting local athletics, charities and other community staples, he and O'Brien's have teamed up with the Krewe for fundraising efforts and volunteer service for several years. He is currently running a toy drive, for which unwrapped toys can be brought to the Plant City restaurant by Tuesday, December 13.
