Obituary: Zeal I. Langshaw

Zeal I. Langshaw, 103, died Dec. 15, 2014.

Mr. Langshaw was born March 26, 1911, in Monterey Township, Michigan, the son of Desbert James and Margaret (Schafer) Langshaw. He retired to Plant City in 1978.

Mr. Langshaw married Marian Philley in 1934, and she preceded him in death after 49 years of marriage. He married Irma Rudert in 1984, and she preceded him in death after 24 years of marriage.

Mr. Langshaw was also preceded in death by his parents; son, Harold Langshaw; brothers, Arnold Langshaw and Everett Langshaw; step-son, Eric Rudert; and step-grandson, Matthew Rudert. He is survived by children, Norman Langshaw (Diana), James Langshaw (Kaye Reed) and Larry Langshaw (Barbara); grandchildren, Todd Langshaw (Debbie), Rebecca Jones (Tony) and Victoria Thomas (Jeff); great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Langshaw; step-children, Joel Rudert (Christina), Brian Rudert (Miriam), Cheryl Wurzbacher (Eric) and Michelle Carpenter; 12 step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Langshaw’s Funeral Service was conducted Saturday, Dec. 20, and burial took place in East Hickory Corners Cemetery. Memorial contributions to Kellogg Forest will be appreciated. Condolences may be made at WilliamsGoresFuneral.com.
