Retired Master Sgt. Thomas H. Powers, United States Air Force, 82, of Valrico, died Aug. 17, 2015.
Mr. Powers was born on June 2, 1933 in Boston, Massachusetts. He had a strong faith, and love for family and friends. Music filled his soul.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Powers; children, John Powers, of Brandon, and Jeanine Powers, of Alpharetta, Georgia; siblings, William Powers, Lorraine Poulen, Joan Bellino and Barbara Oakley, of Massachusetts; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service with military honors was held Friday, Aug. 21, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
