Obituary: Sarojini Aricmary ‘€œArica’€ Spry Harris

Sarojini Aricmary “Arica” Spry Harris, 69, of Plant City, and formerly of Lakeland, died April 22, 2015.

She was born in Bombay, India, in 1946. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, and had an entrepreneurial spirit. She co-founded The Red Top Pit Stop restaurant in Lakeland.

She is survived by her children, Sandra Spry (Keith Hamm), Lavina Spry (Tom Kramer) and Elvis Harris; life partner, James Matthews; siblings, Annamary Michael, Rosemary Michael and Vincent Michael (Rita Michael); grandchildren, Arika, Rachel, Christina (Danny), Lyndsy, Alyssa, Ashlee, Adam and Christopher; nine great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Annarose Spry.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 9, at St. Joseph Catholic Church Lakeland, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Hopewell Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be made at HopewellFuneral.com.
