Dr. S. Vijay, 70, died Sept. 23, 2014, after a long illness.
He was born in India and graduated from dental school in Mumbai, India, and Oslo, Norway. He practiced dentistry in Norway for 10 years before coming to Florida, where he practiced for another 23 years in Plant City before retiring.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years; two sons; daughter-in-law; and three grandchildren.
Private services were held at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park, Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverview.
