Richard E. “Woody” Woods, 79, of Plant City, died May 10, 2015.
He was a retired Master Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, a member of the Olin S. Wright Masonic Lodge and a volunteer at McDill Air Force Base.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lila “Coodie” Woods; children, Deborah Walker (Clark), Teri Hazelett and Fred Tom Morris Jr. (Crystal); siblings, Ramona Tellier and Warren Woods; grandchildren, Melissa Gunn, Ben Gunn, Jennifer Gaspar (Shawn) and Fred Tom Morris III; great-grandchildren, Hunter Johnson, Carli Corbett, Brooke Gunn, Dallas Gunn and Branson Gaspar; siblings-in-law, Martha Durrance and Ray Glover; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Loren and Helena Woods.
