Raymond “Buddy” Edward Swindle, 71, of Thonotosassa, died May 4, 2017, at his home.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Dover and the Local 67 Heat/Frost Insulators. He spent many years supporting the local youth with agricultural projects at the Florida Strawberry Festival. Although there were many things that he could be proud of accomplishing, he was most proud of his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Diane Swindle; brother, Cary Swindle; children, Heather Meyer (Darrell), Becky Wyatt (Bobby) and Ashley Swindle (April); 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Jane Swindle; brother, Gary Swindle; and sister, Mary Felder.
A funeral service was held May 11, at First Baptist Church of Dover.
Burial followed at Antioch Cemetery, Thonotosassa.
