Maitlin Alise Haynes died Dec. 13, 2014 at Tampa General Hospital.
She was born in Tampa and moved with her family to Brandon, then Plant City.
She attended Walden Lake Elementary School, Tomlin Middle School and Plant City High School. She enjoyed writing and playing with her dogs, but she was most happy when she was with her close friends being goofy.
She is survived by her father, Allen Haynes; brothers, Andrew and Clay; grandfather, Claude Haynes, and uncle, Spencer Haynes (Heather).
A candlelight vigil is being held Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014 at the Walden Lake Park on Timberland Dr.
