Obituary: Lynda Ruth Rogers Fuller

Lynda Ruth Rogers Fuller, 72, of Plant City, died April 7, 2015.

Mrs. Fuller was a graduate of Plant City Senior High School. She enjoyed organizing many activities, including picnics, dinners and reunions for the class of ‘60, as well as the monthly class breakfast. Mrs. Fuller cared for others on a daily basis throughout her career in nursing. Arts and crafts were her hobby, and she loved making flower arrangements and decorating for Christmas. Mrs. Fuller was a proud ancestor of a Hillsborough County pioneer family, and along with several cousins, co-authored the book “Pioneers of Hopewell.” She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church since childhood. She loved the Plant City community and volunteered for many organizations. She loved attending church, taking family trips to Fernandina Beach, traveling and attending senior aerobic classes. In her spare time, she continued the family’s cattle business. Mrs. Fuller was a beautiful person who will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by daughter, Kathie Jean Fuller (Jeff Traicoff); sons, James, Samuel Russell,  Timothy Russell (Penny), and Charles Raymond (LeighAnn); grandchildren, Brooke, Jeremy and Alex Fuller, and Brad and Daniel Cassels; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Samuel A. Fuller; her parents, Mildred Frierson Rogers and Russell Rogers; and grandson, Brett Russell Fuller.
