Obituary: Jack L. Pettis

Jack L. Pettis, 79, of Plant City, and born in Tampa, died April 25, 2015, surrounded by his family at home.

Mr. Pettis served in the U.S. Navy for 10 years, later retired from Cargill and then worked as a commercial real estate agent until his illness. He loved hunting, golfing and being with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Pettis; sons, Robert (Donna) and Jack L. Pettis Jr.; daughters, Jo-An Lusk (Rob) and Jeanne Stearns (Stacy); grandchildren, Bryan Pettis, Lisa Johnson (Jason), Charlie Lusk (Shannon), Cody Lusk (Angela), Jessica Pettis, Ashley Stearns and Clint Stearns; and great-grandchildren, Sam Johnson, Ava Johnson, Aubrey Lusk, Braylee Lusk, and soon to come, Jensen Lusk.
