Hugh David Grooms, 63, died May 27, 2015.
Mr. Grooms was born Dec. 23, 1951 in Plant City to Willa Dean and the late Clerance Tillman Grooms. He was a lifelong resident of Plant City and spent 35 years raising strawberries and citrus for Fancy Farms Inc. He loved farming, fishing, old cars and his family.
He is survived by his daughter, Emily Grooms; son, Darrin Grooms; siblings, Diane Tate, Carl Grooms (Dee Dee), Tim Grooms (Debbie) and Joy Sims (Jesse); and two grandchildren, Aiden and Hailey Grooms.
