Helen I. Buti, 93, died Oct. 13, 2014, in Brandon.
She was born Aug. 8, 1921, in Elk County, Pennsylvania, to Alexander and Elizabeth (Elek) Buti.
She worked for more than 30 years as a civil servant for the U.S. government. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, in Tampa.
She is survived by one sister, Mary Farkas; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Steve and Louis Buti; and sister, Elizabeth Buti.
Funeral services were held Oct. 16, at Wells Memorial and Event Center, Plant City.
