Elliott A. Telford Jr., 78, of Plant City, died Dec. 18, 2014, at home.
Mr. Telford was an Army Veteran and a longtime member of the local Rotary and Elks clubs. He was also the opening manager of Grant’s, Plant City’s first department store.
He is predeceased by parents, Elliott and Kathryn Telford; first wife, Dorothy Telford; sister, Kitty Lopez; and grandson, Joey Helton. Loving family who survive are wife of 18 years, Edna Earl Telford; daughters, Laura Telford and Brenda Moss (Wayne); sons, Scott Telford (Angela), Dennis Helton (Karen) and Donny Helton (Alega); brother, Tom Telford (Eileen); 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Monday, Dec. 22, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to pulmonary fibrosis. Condolences may be made at WellsMemorial.com.
