Carl Russ III, 24, of Bartow, died Sept. 3, 2014.
He was a graduate of Durant High School, where he was a member of Troupe 5444. He enjoyed music, writing and developing video games. He created Carl’s Place Radio and published two parts of a book trilogy, “Tales of Aria.”
He is survived by his parents, Rusty and Terry Russ; sister, Lindsey O. Russ; grandmother, Odette Flott; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl Russ Sr. and Dorothy Russ and Douglas F. Flott Sr.
