Betty Jo McCoy (Wasden), 77, of Plant City, died May 22, 2015.
Mrs. McCoy was a member of Countryside Baptist Church. She spent much of her time gardening and reading.
She is survived by sons, James T. Wasden and James E. Wasden; sister, Shirley Ann Turner; grandchildren, Maranda Wasden, Cody Wasden and Jacob Wasden; great-grandson, Landon Wasden; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her first husband, James N. Wasden; second husband, Roy McCoy; and daughter, Teri Wasden.
A visitation was held May 29 at Wells Memorial Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service. A burial was held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Durant.
