Jennie Harwell, 83, of Plant City, Fla., born in Warren, Ohio on June 17, 1942, entered into eternal rest on Dec. 8, 2025. She was past-President of Bryan Elementary, and East Hillsborough Independent PTA, past-Chairman of Pioneer Day, past-President and member of Woman’s Club of Plant City, past-President and member of Plant City Garden Club, member of the National Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, and lifetime member of East Hillsborough Historical Society. She loved her family dearly, and enjoyed flower arranging, and antiques. She is survived by husband of 61 years, James Harwell; daughter, Kelli McNair of Plant City; grandchildren, Robert Harwell, and Nick McNair; and siblings, Bessie Baxley, Ethel Yamnatz, Wanda Allen (Danny), Bill May, and Mary Harris (Clyde). She was preceded in death by son, Pete Harwell. A funeral service will be held Dec. 19, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Life Journey Baptist Church, 110 N Forbes Road, Plant City, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 A.M. Marvin Carl Martin
Marvin Carl Martin, 86, of Plant City, Fla., passed away peacefully at home on Dec. 8, 2025. Marvin was an Air Force veteran and loved our country. A graveside service was held Dec. 17, 2025, at Sunset Memory Gardens, Thonotosassa, FL.
