Melvin Kenneth Blandford, Stephen Alfred Carraggi, Edwin C. Kalm, Arnold Jefferson McEver and James Leroy Stincill

Melvin Kenneth Blandford

Melvin Kenneth Blandford, 78, of Plant City, and Lower Burrell, Pa., died Sept. 26, at South Florida Baptist Hospital.

Born Dec. 30, 1933, in New Kensington, Pa., he was the son of the late Gordon Blandford and the late Wilma Nonemaker Blandford. He was the husband of Dolores Smith Blandford.

Survivors include daughters, Linda Finley and LuAnn Blandford; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Interment is planned for Pennsylvania.

Stephen Alfred Carraggi

Stephen Alfred Carraggi, 88, of Plant City, died Sept. 30, at Sun City Center Hospice House, Ruskin.

Born July 31, 1924, in Boston, Mass., he was the son of the late Guiseppe Carraggi and the late Agatha Cammarata Carraggi. He was the husband of Mary Doiron Carraggi.

Survivors include sons, Stephen (Butch) Carraggi and Michael Carraggi; daughters, Jean Booras and Karen Roberts; brother, Cosmo Carraggi; and seven grandchildren.

Edwin C. Kalm

Edwin C. Kalm, 83, of Plant City, died Sept. 20, in Ruskin.

He was born March 19, 1929, in Chicago, to Edwin C. and Lillian K. (Kramer) Kalm. Mr. Kalm married Margaret (Anderson), who survives.

He was U.S. Army veteran and worked as a project manager for PPG. His memberships include the American Legion and was a 50-year master mason with the Avondale Chapter in Chicago.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Margaret Kalm; one daughter, Robin Stelmach and her husband, Bernard; and one grandson, Bernie (Ben) Edwin Stelmach.

Memorials may be donated to Florida United Methodist Children’s Home, 51 Children’s Way, Enterprise, FL 32725.

Arnold Jefferson McEver

Arnold Jefferson McEver Jr., 81, of Plant City, died Sept. 24, at South Florida Baptist Hospital.

Born Aug. 11, 1931, in Plant City, he was the son of the late Arnold McEver, Sr., and the late Marie Wood McEver.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 until 1956, in Korea.

Survivors include sons, Arnold III, Kevin and Tim McEver; brother, Richard McEver; sister, Emily Yost; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

James Leroy Stincill

James Leroy Stincill, 53, of Lakeland, died Sept. 30, 2012, at Palm Terrace of Lakeland.

Born June 15, 1959, in Plant City, he was the son of James Stincill and the late Belvie Howard.

Survivors include brothers, Todd and Travis Griffin, Michael Blanton and Kenny Simmons; and sisters, Letha Suggett, Anita Feltman, Donna Scott, Jackie Dunn and Grace Scott.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Oct. 12, at Haught Funeral Home Chapel, 708 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Plant City.
