Kyle R. Ammerman, Ricky E. Bradford, Bertha K. Gaschler, Sandra Annette Nave, James L. Tomlinson, Joseph Allen Weyand and Elouise Williamson

Kyle R. Ammerman

Kyle R. Ammerman, 25, of Plant City, died July 28.

Born Dec. 3, 1986, in Tampa, he was the son of Nicholas Ammerman and Margaret Parrish.

Survivors include fiancee, Mandy Owens; daughter Haylie Lynn Ammerman; brother, Trenton Ammerman; paternal grandparents, Donald and Carol Ammerman; and maternal grandparent, Martha Parrish.

A memorial service was Aug. 3, at Haught Funeral Home Chapel.

Ricky E. Bradford

Ricky E. Bradford, 50, of Plant City, died Aug. 1, 2012, at Sun City Center Hospice.

He was born Feb. 3, 1962, to the late Robert Bradford and Dolly Griffin.

Survivors include one brother, Michael Griffin; and one sister, Donna Anders.

Bertha K. Gaschler

Bertha K. Gaschler, 74, of Plant City, died July 30.

Born Aug. 28, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Haili and Elizabeth Kinolau Haili. She was the wife of the late William Gaschler.

She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, spent years as a nurse’s aide, serving at Lowes Nursing Home and Forest Park and Community Convalescent, and was an avid bingo player.

Survivors include sons, Andrew Joseph, Robert Allen and David Wayne Gaschler; daughters, Debra Ann Thompson and Marlene Leilani Shover; 10 grandchildren;  and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by daughter, Alberta Perkins.

Sandra Annette Nave

Sandra Annette Nave, 70, of Plant City, died July 21, at Brandon Regional Hospital.

Born July 17, 1942, in Tampa, she was the daughter of the late Leon Childers and the late Shirley Lisbeny  Childers. She was the wife of John Nave, Jr.

Survivors include sons, Michael and David Bachman; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

James L. Tomlinson

James L. Tomlinson, 77,  died July 26.

He was a lifelong resident of Seffner, a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of First Baptist Church of Dover.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Barbara Tomlinson; two sons, James Leslie Tomlinson, of Montana, and Charles Eugene Tomlinson, of Arkansas; brother, Charles Tomlinson (Brenda), of North Carolina; sisters, Virginia Evans and Louise Hudson, both of Valrico; and four grandchildren: Jennifer Mobley, Shannon Range, Christina Tomlinson and C.J. Tomlinson.

Visitation and funeral services were July 30 at the First Baptist Church of Dover, with the Rev. Benny Keck officiating. Interment followed at Dover Cemetery.


Joseph Allen Weyand

Joseph (Joey) Allen Weyand, of Clarksville, Tenn., died July 25. He was 42.

Mr. Weyand was born Jan. 14, 1970, in Plant City, to the late John B. Weyand Sr., and Ann Weyand. He was an active member of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship, an  employee of the city of Clarksville and an avid Gator fan.

He is survived by his wife, Terry Weyand; son, Justin Weyand; daughter, Courtney Weyand; mother, Ann Weyand; brother, Johnny Weyand; sisters, Charlotte Conway, Patty (Jim) Waldron, Lynda (Troy) Feustel and Lisa Wilkins; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 13, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 402 W. English St., Plant City. All family and friends are welcome. Wear your Gator attire.

Elouise Williamson

Elouise Williamson, 85, of Advent Christian Village, Dowling Park, and Dover, died July 29.

She was born Jan. 26, 1927. She was the last of three sons and four daughters of Will and Deb Fletcher.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, R.J. Williamson of Dover.

Survivors include two sons, Francis Williamson (Margie), George Williamson (Diane); six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be at 12:30 p.m., Aug. 12, at Dover Advent Christian Church, 14202 Downing St. Internment will be with R.J. at Florida National Cemetery, with military honors, at a later date.
