Daniel Thomas Downs
Daniel Thomas Downs transitioned peacefully from this life to his eternal life with Jesus Christ on July 19, 2025. He was a man of deep faith who loved his family and friends by covering them in prayers that were felt by all. He is survived by his two daughters, Sarah Keel (Ray) and Samatha Taylor (Joey) and her grandchildren, Ella, Samuel, Declan, and Alexa.
Dan lived a full life. He married his high school sweetheart, Darice, and they shared 53 years together. He was involved in the Plant City community through Downs Real Estate, a business he grew with his mother, Hazel. He also enjoyed several years performing around the country as part of a Blues Brothers Review. Faith and family were the two most important parts of his life.
