Goldie Edwards

Goldie Edwards, 90, of Plant City, died March 17, 2013.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Edwards.

She is survived by her sons, David Edwards (Andrea), Larry Edwards (Jeannette) and David Thompson (Debbie); nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 p.m. March 21, at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 C.R. 39 S., Plant City, where the family will receive friends beginning at 6 p.m.

Private interment at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.

Blake A. Elrod

Blake A. Elrod, 17, of Plant City, died in an auto accident March 15, 2013.

He was a senior at Plant City High School. He had a passion for creating music and loved fishing and camping. His kind and fun-loving nature made him a favorite to friends of all ages.

He is survived by his parents, Blake and Stacy Elrod; grandparents, Kristi Chaiser, and Jerry and Gail Elrod; and a loving extended family.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bruce Chaiser.

Marilyn L. Ringley

Marilyn L. Ringley, 81 of Plant City died March 17, 2013, at her son’s home, in Valrico.

Born Sept. 20, 1931, in Warren, Ohio, to the late Merle Post and the late Ethel Merrifield Post, she was the wife of the late Adam Ringley.

Survivors include her son, Christopher Ringley; daughter, Tracie Johns; grandchildren, Wade Simpson, Jamie Ourso Jr. and Jacob Kunstbeck; and great-grandchild, Isabelle Ourso.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alexis Barbarossa-Kunstbeck.

The family has planned private services but has asked that any donations be made in Mrs. Ringley’s honor to the Humane Society.

Brenda G. Tucker

Brenda G. Tucker, 58, died March 13, 2013, at Brandon Regional Hospital.

She was born Aug. 1, 1954, in Plant City, to Charlie Ray and Odie (Free) Goodson.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, James Tucker; two sons, James Tucker Jr. (Brittony) and Brady Tucker; a daughter, Crystal Williams; two brothers, Charlie Goodson and Keith Graham; sister, Teresa Svack; and nine grandchildren.

Burial was at Mt. Enon Cemetery.
