Barry Michael Giacobbe

As you peruse today’s death notices, yes, you are correct, Barry Michael Giacobbe, formerly from Allentown, PA. age 80 died of natural causes in his beloved Florida on December 16, 2025.

He left behind two wives, (Easy…not at the same time), Susan Marie Giacobbe and Barbara Jo Giacobbe. Both wonderful women, mothers and companions, and four grandchildren, Matt, Josh, Brandon Giacobbe and Hopelynne Cooper. Brad, Mae and Tara Cooper, stepchildren, all of whom he loved beyond description as well as his greatest accomplishment; Mark Christopher Giacobbe, his son.

“Judy, Chris, Michael and Donna, his brothers and sisters are four of the greatest, kindest, loving human beings and friends one could possibly want and be fortunate to have as family.”

Barry Michael Giacobbe lived his life on his own terms. He was a High School and College graduate, a honorably discharged veteran Petty Officer from the U.S Coast Guard and a Detective Sergeant with the Allentown Police Department.

As is with everyone’s existence, he was proud of his life’s accomplishment, disillusioned with failure, sad over losses, happy with positive occurrences and through adversity always stood, proud and tall.

He was buried at sea with U.S Coast Guard Honors.
