Plant City Chamber to Host
\Candidate Forum for City
Commission Race
The Plant City Chamber of Commerce will host a Candidate Forum: Local Edition on Tuesday, March 24, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Hillsborough College Trinkle Center, providing residents and members of the business community an opportunity to hear directly from candidates running for Plant City City Commission.
The forum is designed to serve as an informational and educational platform for voters ahead of the upcoming municipal election. Candidates will have the opportunity to introduce themselves, respond to a series of prepared questions related to issues impacting the community, and share their vision for the future of Plant City.
“This forum is an opportunity for our community to become more informed about the individuals seeking to serve on the Plant City City Commission,” said Chuck Gore, Chairman of the Board. “Encouraging civic engagement and providing access to meaningful dialogue with candidates is an important part of our role in supporting a strong and informed community.”
The format of the event will include candidate introductions, moderated questions, and closing statements. The forum is structured to promote respectful dialogue and provide attendees with an opportunity to learn more about each candidate’s priorities and perspectives.
The Plant City Chamber of Commerce will serve as a neutral convener and does not endorse candidates in municipal elections.
Community members are encouraged to attend and learn more about the candidates seeking to represent Plant City.
