The new Burger King restaurant on Thonotosassa Road is now open.
The fast food restaurant at 2415 Thonotosassa Road has a double-drive-thru, and drive-thru access doors that will enable staffers to greet guests and deliver their orders. There are 55 new team members that have been hired to work at the location.
“We will focus on guest service that’s fast, friendly and accurate,” Daniel B. Fitzpatrick, chairman and CEO of Quality Dining Inc., said. “We are certain guests will notice our high level of service at this Plant City location.”
Inside, guests will be able to use a new Freestyle Coca-Cola fountain, which features more than 120 different beverage choices, including waters, sports drinks, lemonades and sparkling beverages that were not previously available in the U.S. Guests with imagination will be able to combine them to create their own signature drinks.
The restaurant will also offer salads, smoothies, soft serve cones and sundaes along with the WHOPPER sandwich, chicken sandwich, french fries and specialty coffees, including iced coffee and frappes.
Quality Dining Inc., the operator of 57 Tampa Bay area Burger King restaurant, also owns the Burger King on Park Road.

The Thonotosassa Road Burger King team will support the community through the Burger King Scholars Program, VFW UNMET Needs Program and many other ways.
