Under his leadership, a proclamation was awarded in 2022 by the City of Plant City, and in 2024, the foundation was awarded the “Sadye Gibbs Martin Community Service Award” by the Improvement League of Plant City.
As an active supporter of the Plant City Police Department, he is always in contact with the Department to help assist and improve his community. He is an ordained minister of the Baptist denomination, serving as Associate Minister at his local congregation, Advisor for the Young Adult Ministry, and Adult Sunday School Teacher

When asked, “Why should you be elected as a Commissioner?” He replies, “I’m just a humble servant. People promise change, but I ensure it happens with accountability.”
What are the top three issues facing the city right now?
Infrastructure
Budget/FinancialAccountability
Affordable Housing
If elected, what would be your first priority in office?
Reviewing the Budget
What is your position on property taxes and city spending?
I cannot give a complete answer until we review the budget. What I will say is that there has been too much building in the community and not enough bridging with the community.
What steps would you take to improve public safety?
Speak with the Department Heads
Ask them to produce the top 3 necessary things/items they need
Ensure that there is enough funding
Hold a monthly meeting with them or their representative to guarantee that there is no breakdown in community between them, the city, and the community.
How do you balance growth with preserving neighborhood character?
Growth can only happen when there is transparency. Whether you are correct or incorrect, transparency breeds growth and maintains character. It is in those moments that truth prevails.
Why should voters choose you over your opponents?
I’m just a humble servant and always willing to serve where the lift is needed. For over 25 years, our city has not seen a change in leadership, barring the election of Commissioner Jason Jones in 2022. Electing me will not only bring about the face of change, but a freshness to what change, transparency, and accountability will provide. Electing me will bring a current and youthful voice to the table. Electing me will be the change that Plant City needs.
